Within the walls of the remarkable Cesky Sternberk Castle there are many fascinating objects of decoration, including bas-reliefs, carvings, marble inlay and semi-precious stone jewellery. In the castle itself one can see many valuable collections - from Viennese and Meissen porcelain to Dutch silver miniatures, antique furniture, a rich library of old books and manuscripts, 18th century chandeliers weighing up to three hundred kilograms, and even magnificent knight's armour. It is believed that the Sternberk family hid the treasures deep underground in the castle.
